This tour is structured to work for either 3, 4 or 5 days and covers the WW1 Battlefields of Ypres, The Somme and Vimy Ridge. The 3-Day Tour allows one day at each area and the 5-Day Tour is generally 2 days in the Ypres Salient, 2 days on The Somme and 1 day at Vimy Ridge. However this can be adjusted to suit requirements…maybe you would like to spend 5 days in the Ypres Salient!! Anything is possible. But as a general guide the tour covers all the main sites in each area and a choice of quirky off the beaten track sites too. Maybe you have a particular interest in the medical history, the technological or the political, and if so we discuss this in advance and I will adjust the tours to incorporate your interests. I have led many tours following family members of many nations and I particularly enjoy carrying out the research to bring these moments alive for people. My WW1 tours particularly focus on individual stories and as such are extremely moving experiences.
